What’s the process for associating my MindField and Facebook accounts?
Go to your normal login page at the MindField website. You will see a Facebook login button. Click it, and then log into Facebook. Allow the permissions, then login to your MindField account.
Do I have to I have to use my Facebook account to become a member of MindField?
Absolutely not. But, you will gain access to live studies directly from your member page without waiting for the email circulation. You will also be invited to Facebook only opportunities along with several other advantages. So, no, you don’t have to but it will be well worth it if you do.
When I consider using my Facebook account it asks me to allow a lot of my profile and other information – is that necessary?
The information will be used to provide you with more opportunities and make your MindField experience more fulfilling. For instance, we will soon be sending surveys based on where you check in or products you might post about. These are exclusive opportunities that will only be given to our Facebook members based on the information they allow us access to. As with all Facebook apps you can remove any information you don’t want to share after you link your accounts. You are in complete control of the information through Facebook.
How safe is the information accessed via Facebook?
If I don’t associate my account now, will I be able to later?
Yes, while we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities immediately, you can always join via Facebook just by clicking on the Facebook login button.
What if I no longer want to associate my MindField and Facebook accounts?
You can remove the MindField app at anytime in your Facebook account settings but as soon as you do, you will immediately lose access to all of the benefits like Live Now! and Facebook only opportunities.
What is the Live Now! Section on my member page?
These are real surveys that are currently available to you because you have associated your account with Facebook. You can access these surveys by simply clicking on the link provided. Why wait for the email rotation when you can participate Now!
When logging in with Facebook for the first time, it’s asking me to login with both Facebook and my usual Mindfield login. Why both?
This allows us to associate your Mindfield account with your Facebook account. You will only need to provide both logins the first time you use Facebook to login. After that, you will only need to be logged into Facebook for the system to automatically sign you in when you come to our site. If you are not logged into Facebook when coming to the site, you will, of course, need to sign in using the Facebook login button.
